Energetic Tango Nuevo performed by two great young artists, Kristina Vocetková (cello) and Milan Řehák (accordion).
The Pasión program offers a fly through the life of the great Argentine composer and bandoneonist Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992) and brings his music in a passionate and emotional performance. Tango Nuevo – the genre founded by Piazzolla – enriches the traditional tango with elements of classical music and jazz. His compositions have spread rapidly all over the world, and surely everyone has come across with them on various occasions. In addition, there are also compositions by Piazzollo’s main cellist José Bragato and the current accordion star Gorka Hermosa, who mixes tango with the rhythms of Balkan!
